- The tournament has been shortened from the original 4 rounds (72 holes) to 3 rounds (54 holes) starting on Friday

- Practice on the course was not allowed for the same reason until Thursday, players could only use the putting and chipping green for practice, the driving range was only open on Tuesday
- On Monday, she moved 700km north from Sydney to Coffs Harbour, where she spent Tuesday training in the gym, on the driving range, and walked the course with one of the local members she and her team are staying with in Coffs Harbour
- On Wednesday, due to more rain, practice on the course was cancelled, including the Pro-Am tournament, with practice areas only partially open
- Thursday is scheduled to be the first practice session on the course – playing surface condition permitting – with the tournament starting on Friday
- Everything remains open for now, however, as there is a high probability of precipitation in the forecast for Thursday as well
- The tournament will be broadcast by Oneplay Sport on Saturday and Sunday night

- After the hectic cancellation of the tournament last week, I moved on to Sydney, where Kuba and I used the facilities of our Czech friends. The weather was much more tolerable, allowing us to practice both on the field and on the practice areas of several local courses. We also had the opportunity to visit Wollongong, where the last LET tournament is being played next week.
- But we also found time for things outside of golf. There was tennis, the sea, a bit of culture, the gym or a run on the beach. It was a pretty good patch on the missed tournament and I’m so glad we moved south.
- Of course, we kept an eye on what was going on up in Brisbane and what passed for news from the course we were supposed to be playing on was pretty disturbing. There was over a metre of water in the Pro Shop, several holes totally flooded… The early cancellation of the tournament turned out to be the most correct decision of last week. Fortunately, even more drastic predictions did not come true, the impact was only material. So actually, everything still turned out pretty well.
- On Monday we moved on to Coffs Harbour, with a brief stop at Magenta Shores, where we met up with our hosts from last year. We had a great workout and arrived at the venue for the next tournament late in the evening. It rained a lot the whole way, which is still noticeable here. The course is not in a playable condition, but we all hope to get started on Friday.
- We spend a lot of time here with the girls in the gym, we get to the training areas sporadically, the whole course is closed. It rained again today (Wednesday), unfortunately rain is in the forecast for tomorrow, so we’ll see. Can’t wait to play the tournament as the course looks amazing. Unfortunately, it’s still full of water.
- On Tuesday we had a chance to walk the nine without clubs at least with our host Ian Smith, an 80 year old member of the local club we are staying at this week. He tried to pass on his knowledge of the course to us, so hopefully it will come in handy and we will be able to put it to good use.
- It’s a bit of a bummer, but unfortunately there’s not much we can do about the weather at the moment. Anyway, it would be worth evaluating the last two years and moving the tournaments in Australia to an earlier date when there is a much better chance that the weather will not disrupt the tournament. This is a matter in which we female players should have more discussion with the LET and maybe even put more pressure.

- Turnaj byl zkrácen z původních 4 kol (72 jamek) na 3 kola (54 jamek) se startem v pátek
- Důvody pro zkrácení turnaje – místní záplavy po cyklonu Alfred, vlhké hřiště, přetrvávající déšť
- Již v loňském roce byl tento turnaj z důvodů deště zrušen po prvním kole (hřiště Bonville GC je vzdáleno cca 5km)
- Trénink na hřišti nebyl umožněn ze stejného důvodu prozatím do čtvrtka, hráčky měly možnost využít k tréninku pouze putting a chiping green, driving range byl otevřen zatím pouze v úterý
- V pondělí se přesunula ze Sydney 700km na sever do Coffs Harbour, kde se v úterý věnovala tréninku v posilovně, na drivinge range, prošla si hřiště s jedním z místních členů, u kterého v Coffs Harbour se svým týmem bydlí
- Ve středu byl vzhledem k dalšímu dešti zrušen trénink na hřišti, včetně Pro-Am turnaje, tréninkové plochy byly otevřené jen částečně
- Ve čtvrtek je naplánován první trénink na hřišti – pokud to stav hracích ploch dovolí – v pátek start turnaje
- Vše zůstává ale zatím otevřené, protože i na čtvrtek je v předpovědi vysoká pravděpodobnost srážek
- Turnaj vysílá v noci na sobotu a neděli Oneplay Sport

- Po hektickém zrušení turnaje minulý týden jsem se přesunula směr Sydney, kde jsme s Kubou využili zázemí u našich českých přátel. Počasí bylo o hodně přijatelnější, dovolilo nám jak trénink na hřišti, tak na cvičných plochách několika místních hřišť. Měli jsme možnost navštívit i Wollongong, kde se hraje poslední turnaj LET příští týden.
- Našli jsme ale čas i na věci mimo golf. Nechyběl tak třeba tenis, moře, trocha kultury, posilovna nebo proběhnutí po pláži. Byla to docela fajn záplata na neuskutečněný turnaj a jsem moc ráda, že jsme se na jih přesunuli.
- Samozřejmě jsme po očku sledovali, co se nahoře v Brisbane děje a to, co přicházelo za zprávy ze hřiště, kde jsme měli hrát, bylo dost zneklidňující. V Pro Shopu bylo více než metr vody, několik jamek totálně zaplavených… Brzké zrušení turnaje se ukázalo jako to nejsprávnější rozhodnutí minulého týdne. Naštěstí se nepotvrdily ještě drastičtější předpovědi, dopad byl jen materiální. Takže vlastně vše dopadlo ještě docela dobře.
- V pondělí jsme se přesunuli směr Coffs Harbour, s krátkou zastávkou v Magenta Shores, kde jsme se potkali s našimi hostiteli z loňska. Skvěle jsme si zatrénovali a v pozdních večerních hodinách dorazili do dějiště dalšího turnaje. Celou cestu hodně pršelo, což je tady stále znát. Hřiště není ve stavu, kdy by se na něm dalo hrát, ale všichni doufáme, že v pátek začneme.
- Trávíme tady čas s holkama hodně v posilovně, na cvičné plochy se dostáváme sporadicky, hřiště je celé uzavřené. Dnes (ve středu) opět pršelo, bohužel je déšť v předpovědi i na zítra, takže uvidíme. Už se nemůžu dočkat až si turnaj zahrajeme, protože hřiště vypadá úžasně. Bohužel je stále plné vody.
- V úterý jsme měli možnost si projít bez holí alespoň devítku s naším hostitelem Ianem Smithem, osmdesátiletým členem místního klubu, u kterého tento týden bydlíme. Snažil se nám předat své znalosti ze hřiště, tak snad se budou hodit a my je budeme mít možnost využít.
- Je to trochu bezmoc, ale bohužel se s počasím nedá v tuhle chvíli už moc dělat. Každopádně by stálo za to vyhodnotit si poslední dva roky a turnaje v Austrálii přesunout na dřívější termín, kdy je daleko větší šance, že počasí průběh turnajů nenaruší. Tohle je věc, ve které bychom my hráčky měly s LET více diskutovat a možná i vyvinout větší tlak.
