Sára and environment
My intention off the course is to have a positive impact on the development of golf and education in general where I see the most potential for achieving the goals of the sustainable world.

EDUCATION
I think learning is where everything starts and I see education as the strongest pillar for sustainable future. Thinking in consequences and using the knowledge can truly foster some responsible ideas. That’s why I try to understand how I can help the planet – and share what I learn with others. I like to talk about simple things we all can do. Even small steps matter – and when more of us join in, we can really move things forward.

SPEAKING UP
Sport gave me an opportunity to use my voice – and I would like to use my position to help flag up some of the issues we all face, encourage more action across golf and beyond. I speak up because I care. Even though I am still quite a timid girl I enjoy a conversation, a panel talk, a chance to inspire and get inspired.

ENGAGE & PROMOTE
I love working with people and brands who care about the sustainable approach like I do. I like supporting projects that really help and show others how to get involved too. One of my favourite parts of traveling is getting to know the local communities, their way of living and their habitats and then sharing the stories and innovative ideas they have.

CARBON OFFSET
Playing golf professionally means that I often need to travel around the world for tournaments which causes some unavoidable carbon emissions and I do not want to ignore that – so thanks to GEO Foundation I am able to credibly offset it through investing into local and global climate and nature projects. I am also trying to plan my trips as efficient as possible to reduce my impact and I am fortunate to have partners on my side who participate in carbon positive activities too and I am humbled to put my hand in.
